
The World Religions Conference in Canada is an annual multifaith event. Its origins date back to 1981, when the first conference was held in Brantford Ontario. It is Canada’s largest multi-faith gathering. It promotes dialogue between religions.
Interreligious dialogue
The Boston College Coloquia on Interreligious Dialogue will bring together scholars from around the world and different religions to address fundamental questions in the field. Speakers at this year's conference include Michael J. Puett, the Walter C. Klein Professor of Chinese History at Harvard University, who will explore how Chinese religions can help Western rituals. Anantanand Rambachan from Stonehill College, who is a professor of Hindu Studies and Associate Prof of Religious Studies at College of the Holy Cross will talk about the ways Hinduism could learn from Christian social thoughts.
Animism

Totemism describes a form religion that involves members of a community projecting religious values and symbols onto objects with a sacred value. Durkheim's philosopher says that every religious belief works in the same way. Rituals produce a collective consciousness. This is a shared set, thought, and religious framework.
Hinduism
A panel on Hinduism was featured at a recent conference in Utah. The conference was designed to bring awareness to minority faiths and introduce the public to new ideas on religion in modern society. Sarma, although the conference was focused on religion and the need to understand Hindu belief systems in relation to Western faith traditions, stressed that it was equally important to understand Hindu practice.
Islam
The Islam at World Religions Conference is a significant event that will showcase the diversity of religions around the globe. The conference will feature talks by some of the most renowned scholars of Islam in America. The conference will also feature speakers from a wide variety of backgrounds within the Muslim community. Eight of the fourteen speakers will be women, and two will be African-American. The presentations will follow the same format as TED Talks. This format is designed to make the presentations more easily accessible and relevant for a wider audience.
Judaism
Judaism is a minority religion. But, many Jews live in the United States and around the world. It seeks to build a just society by applying its teachings to commerce, industry, social order and business. It also strives to eradicate poverty, tyranny, social inequality. It defends all human rights to a decent standard life and the sanctity for human life.

Unitarianism
Unitarianism can be considered a global religion. It has a long history of establishing relations with people of other faiths and is considered a secular religion. However, Unitarianism is unique in many respects. Although Unitarianism is now a pluralistic liberal movement in English-speaking countries, its distinctiveness has been retained in continental Europe.
