Islam
Islam is a monotheistic religion which emphasizes God's Oneness. Islam holds that God is the only creator and deserving of worship. This idea is stressed throughout the Qur'an. The Oneness Of Allah is stressed in most verses of the Qur'an.
Christianity, Judaism & Islam are three of the most important monotheistic religious traditions. Abraham is the father of these three traditions. Abraham, who was also the father of Abrahamic religions asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son. But God intervened to save Abraham. He then offered Abraham a lamb to sacrifice. The Bible identifies the promise messiah as the main focus of Jewish people's faith.
Islam considers worship an important part. Worship is not limited to prayers and rituals. Every person must worship God. These activities may include charitable donations, seeking knowledge, or being a force of good in the world.
Judaism
Judaism is a monotheistic ethnic religion belonging to the Abrahamic family of religions. Its roots are in the Middle East, in the Bronze Age. It is based on Jewish beliefs and history. It has been one of the major world religions for over two thousand years, and is one of the most widely practiced in the world.
Jewish people believe God created everything and all humans are made in His image. Judaism says that God will judge you at the end. It has many holidays, traditions, rules and is distinct from other religions. There are approximately 5 million Jews in America today. There are many synagogues all over the country. Jewish people believe in helping people and making the world more beautiful.
The Torah portrays polytheism as a wicked and false religion. In Deuteronomy 32:16-17, God accuses the Israelites of worshiping false gods. Modern scholarship suggests that polytheism originated in monotheism and is a complex question.
Zoroastrianism
Zoroastrianism, despite being one of the most small religions on the planet, still has an impact on the worldviews of its followers. Teachings of the religion include the notions of hell and Heaven, the Judgment Days, and free will. It also teaches that angels and demons exist.
Zoroastrians believe in perfection for human souls and can then meditate on their acts in the next life. The best balance of deeds leads you to heaven while the worst balance leads to hell. Therefore, Zoroastrianism encourages people to become good and moral beings.
Zoroastrianism may be the oldest existing religion in the universe. Its followers were a wealthy minority that believed in honesty and respect. They eventually fled to India where they became known as the Parsis.
